TV is the new religion
TV is the new religion.
Think about it, really think about it.
Parents start early, teaching their babies to worship the big blue screen.
We gladly tithe to it. God, let me pay that cable bill else I be lost.
Surf the waves,
feel the soothing opiate wash over your brain
while taking in the good news, the instructions
how to be a part of the "community"....
Halleluia!
HallegoddamTVluia!
O to be connected
O to feel so right, so cool
Hey - how about a Pod, just a little Pod
you know a cell just to stay "in touch"...............mmmmm
So NO NO NO you say
It isn't so.
It isn't so.
It isn't so.
Really?
Yeah right.
It makes me want to vomit.

choose who feeds your subconscience
We choose our friends. The constant talkers on TV and radio are just regular people. If you met them, would you really befriend them? I don't know, maybe, but what are the motivations behind the words we allow to float into our space without consideration.
A couple of years ago I bought radio advertising for my business and after spending some time with some of the radio folks, I found that I really didn't want to be around many of them. Just like any group of people, there are those I am drawn to with those I am not - for whatever reasons. It made me think about radio and how its just always there. Who is picking the music I'm listening to and how many friggin commercials do I have to listen to in the meantime?
I decided to TURN IT OFF and now have a wonderful and diverse collection of CDs. Sometimes its just nice to have the windows open and just listen to the nothing which is really full of everything real.
